Singapore’s Butterfly Park & Insect Kingdom Museum

Butterfly Park & Insect Kingdom Museum

Butterfly Park & Insect Kingdom Museum

The only one of its kind in Singapore, this museum contains an impressive display of more than 50 species of butterflies. In a courtyard outside the main exhibition hall are panels of colourful sketches and photographs capturing their fascinating life cycle, and a walk-in aviary containing over 2,500 free-flying butterflies.

In addition, there are also some 3,000 species of the world’s rarest insects. Of special mention is the live enclosure of fireflies, darkened during the day so that you can see their little taillights illuminate.
